Victorian Duck Season

The Victorian Government has announced the 2025 duck season. The season will open at 8:00am on Wednesday, 19 March 2025 and close 30 minutes after sunset on Sunday, 9 June 2025. Hunters will be able to hunt the following species: Pacific Black Duck, Chestnut Teal, Grey Teal, Mountain Duck, Pink-eared Duck, Wood Duck and Hardhead.

Winchester Australia will be importing a range of steel shot for both duck and quail hunting in 2025.
